Silver Swans® Adult Ballet Classes

Want to bring more joy and artistry into your life while keeping fit and active?

Come along to a Silver Swans® ballet class in Onerahi to find your inner ballerina at any age!

Silver Swans® classes meet three times a week at St Stephen’s Church Hall in Onerahi, and are specifically designed for the over 55s.

Classes are taught by Patricia Watkins, a licensed Silver Swans® teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.

In a Silver Swans® class, you’ll do a warm-up followed by several structured ballet exercises at the barre. You’ll then move into the centre of the hall and learn adapted dances from a famous ballet (currently The Sleeping Beauty), before finishing with a cool down and stretch.

No experience is required, but you might enjoy learning the basics through a six-week beginner adult ballet course.

Please note that socks are require for this class.
