International Rally of Whangārei 2026 proposed road closures

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Whangarei District Council, for the purpose of the International Rally of Whangārei 2026, organised by Rally New Zealand Ltd, proposes to close the list of roads below to ordinary vehicular traffic.

During the proposed periods of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: 

  • Emergency services may use the closed roads, and residents may use the closed roads by arrangement with the organiser:
