Kerbside collection

Weekly rubbish and recycling by the Council.

We provide a weekly kerbside collection for rubbish in official Whangarei District Council bags.

You can put out as many official bags as needed.  Unofficial bags will not be collected.

There are no collections on:

  • Christmas Day
  • Good Friday (Easter).

If your collection falls on one of these days, it will be moved to the following day.

Wheelie bins are provided by private companies.  Please contact your provider for your wheelie bin collection day or a missed collection.

If your Council rubbish bags or recycling were not collected, please report your missed collection to us.
