Direct debit

Direct debit is our preferred option for land and water rate payments.  You can also set up a direct debit to pay your debtors invoices and statements.

With direct debits, you give us the authority to take regular payments from your account automatically, so you don't have to worry about remembering to make a payment.

They can be set up to be paid from your bank account, on the following basis:

  • land rates - weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
  • water rates - weekly, fortnightly, monthly or when due
  • debtors - weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

If there are any changes to your land and water rates charges, these will be automatically adjusted by us and notification sent to you in writing.

You can set up a direct debit with us online.  Please fill in the Direct Debit authorisation form.

One automatic payment must be set up for each property or water account. If there is more than one property involved, several payments may be necessary.

Please be aware if you are paying rates or water accounts by automatic payment, then these rates must be paid in full by the due dates otherwise penalties will be incurred.
