Request a property search

If you are interested in a property but do not want to apply for a LIM, you can request a general property search instead.

This may include copies of:

  • site plans
  • floor plans
  • elevation as-built plans
  • drainage as-built plans
  • Code Compliance Certificate (if the building work is signed-off)
  • building consent and permit information.

You can also request other information if you need it.

A property file does not replace a Land Information Memorandum (LIM) report.  If you are considering a property, we recommend applying for a LIM.

Fees

There is a standard fee for property searches for both residential and commercial properties.  Fees must be paid in advance.
