A new skatepark will be constructed in Parua Bay at the reserve adjacent to the Parua Bay Community Centre.
The new skatepark has been designed collaboratively with local students and skatepark users.
It has been designed to include a variety of features that will be suitable for all abilities, from beginners through to advanced users.
There will also be a footpath connection between the new skatepark and the carpark at the nearby community centre.
Construction is due to start in May 2025.
