Rates rebate widened
Changes to the thresholds mean some ratepayers who weren't eligible for a rates rebate in 2024-25 might be eligible in 2025-26. Homeowners can check their eligibility and apply for the 2025-26 rates rebate after 1 July 2025.

The 2025-26 proposed rates reflect the rating options that were put out for public consultation in April 2025. Public submissions on these options are currently being discussed by Council and final decisions on rates will be made in June 2025.

Shared Path temporary and partial closure
There is a partial closure for earth-works on the Raumanga Shared Path between the Bernard Street footbridge and the State Highway underpass.
