Whangārei Friendship – Meet, Mingle and Learn

Event date: Monday, 28 September 2026 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Our monthly meeting at the Kamo Club starts with a brief formal meeting and includes a 10-minute speaker from within the group.

The raffle is drawn and morning tea follows, which gives us time to chat to other members in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

After morning tea, we normally have an invited speaker, with the subject matter varying widely.

Recent speakers have included a paramedic and people with expertise and knowledge of local geology and history.

From time to time, our speaker will be replaced by a quiz.

Mid-month, we meet at a local cafe or have an outing to a place of interest.

There is no cost for the monthly meeting, apart from the raffle. We pay an annual subscription of $25 for a single person and $35 for a couple. Any outings are at the attendee's own expense.
