Our fees and charges for the 2025-26 financial year are provided below.

All fees are stated as GST inclusive (unless otherwise stated).

The fees below are instalments only and may attract additional processing fees charged on a time basis.

Residential and lifestyle

Properties used principally for residential purposes or lifestyle residential purposes.

Lifestyle blocks may be of variable sizes that are used for non-economical lifestyle residential purposes.	$418.00

Commercial, industrial and rural

Properties used principally for commercial, industrial or related purposes. Additionally, properties that are used for economic rural purposes, including agricultural, forestry, pastoral or aqua cultural purposes.

Hātea walkway swing bridge temporarily closed

The Hātea walkway swing bridge on the walking trail from A H Reed Memorial Kauri Park to Whangārei Falls is closed following a failed safety inspection. We are working with specialist engineers and contractors to replace the bridge structure to ensure necessary stabilisation and safety improvements.

Potential delay due to high number of LIM applications

We are currently experiencing a high number of LIM applications. This may mean it takes longer than 10 working days for you to receive your completed report. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Rates rebate widened

Changes to the thresholds mean some ratepayers who weren't eligible for a rates rebate in 2024-25 might be eligible in 2025-26. Homeowners can check their eligibility and apply for the 2025-26 rates rebate below. If you received a rebate last year, we have sent you a form for 2025-26, which you should have received by the end of July 2025.
