Whau Valley utility works

Essential utility works will be carried out across parts of Whau Valley Road, Burling Avenue and Walker Crescent.

Period of works: Sunday 28 June 2026, 6:00am to 6:00pm.

During these works, road users may experience:

• stop / go traffic management and short delays
• temporary speed limits (30km/h)
• lane diversions and occasional traffic holds while overhead lines are installed
• partial road closures with detours on Walker Crescent
• footpath closures with alternative routes or pedestrian assistance provided.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible with traffic controllers assisting residents when required. Emergency services access will be always maintained. 

Please allow extra time for travel and follow all traffic management signage and instructions.
