Pursuant to Schedule 10, clause 11(d) of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is given that for the purpose of the Northland Car Club Motorsport Event Series (May to July 2026), organised by Northland Car Club Inc, Whangarei District Council will close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic:
Where: Rosythe Road – from 400m from the intersection of SH1 to 3km from the intersection of SH1.
Where: Springfield Road – from 7.5km from the intersection of SH1 to the intersection of Springfield Road and Kukunui Road.
During the periods of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: Emergency services may use the closed roads, and residents may use the closed roads by arrangement with the organiser:
