Matariki o Te Ra Hingahinga

Following the recent floods, road closures, and the isolation many of our whānau have experienced, we wish to come together to acknowledge and celebrate the resilience of our whānau and hapori.

Our kura warmly invites whānau, kaumātua, kuia, and members of our hapori to join us for a shared kai at Tuparehuia Marae, Bland Bay.

We will begin with a karakia at 7:00am (sunrise), followed by our mokopuna sharing their experiences of Moturoa. They will then present a special Matariki performance, including kapa haka, before we end the morning with a Matariki disco.

Nau mai, haere mai – all are welcome.
