Do you work for a community group or non-profit organisation in the Whangārei District?

Would you like to improve the success of your grant applications?

Join us for this half-day Beginners Grant Seeker Workshop to upskill your community group with the tools and knowledge you need to apply for and win grant funding.

The workshop covers:

  • an overview of the current grants landscape
  • getting your organisation ‘grant-ready’
  • a guide to packaging projects
  • feedback from funders on why applications do or don’t succeed
  • donor relationships
  • grant writing – how to write a great grant application, including examples
  • evaluation and reporting to engage your donors.

This event is held in the Manaia Room within Te Iwitahi (civic centre) and is wheelchair accessible. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

If you already have some grant experience, check out our full-day Advanced Grant Seekers Workshop instead:
