The Wehiwehi Road toilets at Matapōuri were over 20 years old and needed replacing. 

They were often closed due to an aging flushing system, which was no longer keeping up with demand.

We replaced the old two-bay toilet block with a five-bay toilet block, including an accessible toilet. 

This is a sceptic tank toilet block and we added secondary treatment to improve performance.
