CancelledWestern Hills Drive and Central Avenue intersection roadworks

Fulton Hogan will be resurfacing the Western Hills Drive (SH1) and Central Avenue intersection.

Period of works: 9:00pm on Sunday 19 October to 5:00am on Thursday 30 October 2025.

The work will only be carried out from Sunday to Thursday night, and there will not be any work on Sunday 26 or Monday 27 October (Labour Weekend public holiday).

This will involve a one-lane closure under stop / go traffic control. 

There will be a reduced speed of 30km/h at all times.

During the night works, there will be no exit to Western Hills Drive (SH1) from Central Avenue, with a detour via Fifth Avenue and Selwyn Avenue for residents.
