John Street temporary road closure

John Street will be temporarily closed between Cameron Street and Robert Street for a Northpower crane lift.

Periods of closure:

• Sunday 15 March 2026, 6:00am to 12:00pm
• Monday 16 March 2026, 8:00pm to 11:59pm
• Tuesday 17 March 2026, 8:00pm to 11:59pm
• Friday 20 March 2026, 8:00pm to 10:00pm.

John Street will be closed to everyone except business owners and residents within the closure area. All impacted businesses have been notified.

Please follow the detour via Cameron Street, James Street, then via Robert Street or via Robert Street, right into Walton Street then right into Cameron Street.

If the project is delayed due to weather or other factors, we will reschedule the work for the next available suitable days.
