Bank Street temporary road closure

Night works will be carried out on Bank Street between Rust Avenue, Cameron Street, Water Street and Vine Street for the excavation and replacement of utility pillars.

Period of closure: 6:00pm on Sunday 27 September to 5:30am on Monday 28 September 2026 (night works).

This will require the use of heavy vehicles, traffic light outages and parking restrictions in work areas, and will involve night-time road and lane closures with detours in place.

Cyclists and pedestrians will be guided safely through or around the site.

Businesses and properties may experience temporary access restrictions at times. Access will be managed where possible and affected parties will be notified.

Motorists should expect minor delays and allow extra travel time.

Please follow all signage and instructions from traffic management staff, and take extra care when travelling through the work zone.
