We provide a range of on-street parking and Pay and Display car parks for shoppers and visitors to the city centre.

Mobility parking spaces are available throughout Whangārei for use by those with a Mobility Parking Permit. Parking in these spaces is free but maximum parking times still apply.
Concessions are also available for Mobility Parking Permit holders who park in standard parking spaces.

Parking in the central city is divided into three zones.
Parking charges and time limits apply from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Parking charges and time limits also apply on Saturdays, 9:00am and 2:00pm for carparks and on-street parking within Parking Zone 1.

A limited number of reserved and/or monthly parking concession cards are available for the Hātea East, Railway, Vinery Lane and Water Street car parks.
