We are working on a more effective way to manage car parking in the city centre, and we asked for your feedback on our proposals.
Part of this initiative is to provide more short-term car parking (increasing supply) where it is needed the most, but most of our questions in this survey were about managing demand.
Parking management plans are about how we manage existing parking to ensure we use it as efficiently as possible.
We proposed three key improvements and changes that we wanted your feedback on:
- improving the technology that we are currently using
- changes to parking zones to help increase availability
- changes to parking prices.

We'll use your feedback to create the plan, along with information gathered from regular parking surveys, reviews of our current system, best practice from around the country and feedback from our business community.
