Asphalt repair night works

Our contractor Downer will be carrying out asphalt works at various sites across the District to repair damaged patches on the roads. 

Sunday 18 to Wednesday 28 May 2025 – all night works.

Roads being repaired:

• Rewa Rewa Road (at intersection to SH1 North)
• South End Avenue
• Gumdigger Place
• Kamo Road (from Manse Street to Zealandia Street)
• Kensington Avenue
• Griffin Street
• Provisional Drive
• Station Road
• Mains Avenue
• Nixon Street
• Cairnfield Road
• Mill Road
• Alamein Avenue
• Riverside Drive
• Tawhai Place
• One Tree Point Road.

The repair works will be completed under different combinations of traffic management, including manual traffic control (stop / go). There will not be any detours. 

Resident and business access will be provided at all times under direction from traffic management crews onsite. Impacted stakeholders have been notified by letter.
