Haywoods Service Lane temporary road closure

Our contractor Ventia will be resurfacing the road on Haywoods Service Lane between Lower Dent Street and Herekino Street.

Period of closure: Sunday 22 February 2026, 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Haywoods Service Lane will be closed to everyone except business owners and residents within the closure. All impacted businesses have been notified.

This resurfacing is essential for maintaining the integrity and longevity of Haywood’s Service Lane. Regular maintenance, including sealing, prevents road deterioration and ensures a safe, durable surface for all users.

If the project is delayed due to weather or other factors, we will reschedule the work for the next available suitable day.
