Rates rebate widened
Changes to the thresholds mean some ratepayers who weren't eligible for a rates rebate in 2024-25 might be eligible in 2025-26. Homeowners can check their eligibility and apply for the 2025-26 rates rebate below. If you received a rebate last year, we have sent you a form for 2025-26 which you should receive by the end of July.

Our contractors will be spraying broadleaf weeds in turf areas on all Council sports fields, parks and reserves in September and October 2025.

Te Matau a Pohe bridge planned maintenance
We will be carrying out Te Matau a Pohe bridge maintenance from 7am to 7pm on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 September.
There is no road traffic or pedestrian closure but bridge lifts may take longer and cause additional congestion.
There will be a closure for marine traffic. Skippers requiring bridge lifts should plan trips outside of this period and contact bridge control prior to setting out.
