We are restructuring our advisory groups to enhance community engagement on access and inclusion issues. The Positive Ageing Advisory Group and Disability Advisory Group will be disestablished, and a new Accessibility Advisory Group will be set up. The Youth Advisory Group will remain.

Te Matau a Pohe bridge planned marine closure
Te Matau a Pohe bridge will be closed to marine traffic from 15 to 23 July 2025 to replace hydraulic pipes underneath. Vehicle traffic will not be affected. Pedestrian access will also be maintained, however may be limited to one side of the bridge at a time as concrete and signal works are carried out.
