Whangārei Parkrun

Whangārei Parkrun is on every Saturday from 8am to 10am and is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5km community event.

Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate - it's up to you! Parkrun run is not just about running - it's about walking as well so active sportswear is not really required. Also, you can volunteer to assist.

What does it cost to join in? Nothing - it's free! But please register before you first come along.

Only ever register with Parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time.

Where do we start and finish?

Whangārei Parkrun starts and finishes under Te Mate A Pohe Bridge in Port Rd. We head up over the Bridge to the far side of the Hatea River to a marked turnaround point. Turn here and retrace your steps to the start area. Head out on the near side of the river to a second turnaround point. Turn and retrace your steps to the finish beneath Te Mate A Pohe Bridge where we started.
