Staying Safe Driving Refresher

Staying Safe is a free classroom-based refresher for 60+ drivers.

Since 1960, road rules, road design, vehicles, traffic volumes and we have changed. This NZTA sponsored course encourages safe driving behaviours and makes sure we are up-to-date. No tests. Certificate of attendance issued.

Participants should bring their hearing aids and glasses if applicable, as there are videos of give way rules, navigating roundabouts, blind spots and sharing the road with others.

Event Information:

• Pre-registration essential.
• BYO glasses and hearing aids.
• BYO pen. Workbook is provided for free.
• Light refreshments are provided but BYO lunch.
