Sequence Dance Practice Nights
Event date: Monday, 06 October 2025 | 07:00 PM
to 08:45 PM
Modern sequence dancing is a style of dance performed by couples dancing a fixed pattern of steps, based on standard ballroom and Latin dance moves.
We have set lists of dances that we use on a four-week rotation and these lists are posted on our Facebook page each week for reference. Walk-through videos for most of the dances are also available on YouTube for guidance. You may even remember some of them from school or other social events!
Each week we dance around 16 dances from the list, with extra requests if there's time, or walk-throughs and refreshers as needed.
We are a social club, so the emphasis is on socialising and having fun, but anyone is welcome to request a walk-through or refresher as they need it.
We also hold social nights every first and second Saturday of the month, and additional practice nights on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
We recommend you wear shoes that are comfortable and fully support your feet, with soles that will not grip or slip too much on the floor.
