Event date: Saturday, 04 October 2025 | 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

Front view of the Jack Morgan Museum building with a white exterior, a sign reading 'JACK MORGAN MUSEUM,' a covered porch decorated with white triangular flags, an old red tractor on the left, and vintage equipment and informational displays on the right

A fun filled day at the Jack Morgan Heritage Museum for those who love old farm machinery.

Meet Jack Morgan's great-grandson Ryan who will demonstrate and discuss the workings. See a collection of old model tractors.

We have activities for all ages with treasure hunts, butter making, old time games, doing the laundry before electricity, and using the old telephone exchange.

Take your time and explore the other displays on offer encapsulating Hukerenui's pioneering history; a compelling story of the lifestyles of the men and women who developed the land - from the bushmen, gum diggers and hoteliers through to the main industry of pastoral farming.

Finish the day with a drink and food from the grill at the historic Hukerenui Hotel.

BYO refreshments, Child friendly.

Accessibility: mobility parking, wheelchair access, accessible toilets.
