Review your candidate options and chat with the Council's elections team about Single Transferable Voting, the Māori Ward Poll and the process of local elections.

You can even make your vote right then and there using Council’s special vote service.

Rates rebate widened

Changes to the thresholds mean some ratepayers who weren't eligible for a rates rebate in 2024-25 might be eligible in 2025-26. Homeowners can check their eligibility and apply for the 2025-26 rates rebate below. If you received a rebate last year, we have sent you a form for 2025-26 which you should receive by the end of July.
