Application to move gaming machines

Kensington Tavern Limited, as venue operator, and Oxford Sports Trust Incorporated, as gaming licence holder, have applied to Whangarei District Council for permission to:

  • relocate 18 existing gaming machines from their current venue site of Kensington Tavern, 3 Kensington Avenue, Whangārei to a proposed new venue located at 216 Bank Street, Whangārei, due to circumstances beyond their control, i.e. lease expiry.

Whangarei District Council's Class 4 Gambling Venue Policy allows for such a relocation and provides the criteria and processes that need to be followed.
