Northpower will be carrying out hydro excavation and replacement of utility pillars along Bank Street, which will involve night-time road and lane closures on Bank Street between the intersection with Rust Avenue and Cameron Street and the intersection with Water Street and Vine Street.
Period of closure: Sunday 19, Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 July 2026, 7:00pm to 4:30am (night works only).
There will be detours in place, parking restrictions in work areas, and footpath diversions with marshals directing pedestrians. On Monday 20 July, there will be traffic light outages.
Businesses and properties may experience temporary access restrictions at times.
Motorists should expect minor delays and allow extra travel time.
Please take care when travelling through the work zone follow all signage and instructions from traffic management staff.
