This workshop aims to support older adults to strengthen their personal preparedness and resilience.
With guidance from experts from our partner organisations – Hato Hone St John, Civil Defence Emergency Management, Fire and Emergency New Zealand – participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversation, learn about existing resources and support, and work through a practical plan to take home to better prepare for uncertainty.
Join us in this friendly and informative session focused on building confidence, connections and readiness.
Light catering, and tea and coffee will be provided. Please inform us directly if you have any dietary requirements.
This workshop is a collaboration under the Age Friendly Communities initiative in partnership with Hato Hone St John, Civil Defence Emergency Management, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and Whangarei District Council.
