On behalf of the Northland Regional Council, we will be carrying out public transport improvements to make the public bus stops safer, easier to access and more appealing to our customers across sites in Te Kamo, Whau Valley and Onerahi: 

• 13 Fairway Drive
• 187 Fairway Drive (intersection with Braintree Street and Fairway Drive)
• 31 Three Mile Bush Road
• 63 Three Mile Bush Road
• 134 Kamo Road
• 14 Pah Road
• 94A Onerahi Road
• 5 Station Road.

The project includes installing new seats and shelters, minor footpath and drainage connections to improve bus stop locations, new and improved signage and road markings, trimming and removing vegetation, and other concrete works to make the selected bus stops easier to see and safer. 

These improvements are focused on bus stops that form part of school bus routes and other areas where safety issues have been identified (for example, drivers reporting near-miss incidents).
