We’re upgrading the footpaths on the west side of King Street, between 25 and 59 King Street (Four Square to Union Street).

This work includes renewing the kerb and channel, stormwater connections, and vehicle crossings.

What you need to know:

• The work will have limited impact on traffic movement.
• Pedestrians and mobility users will continue to have access through or around the worksite to businesses throughout the project.

We’re also looking at renewing the footpath on the east side of King Street, depending on available funding.
