Can you spare a blanket for a pound pooch?

If you can’t adopt a pound pooch but still want to do something to help, maybe you could raid your linen cupboard. 

As temperatures drop, our Animal Management team is seeking donations of blankets and bedding for dogs in their care. 

We're looking for:

• blankets
• towels
• sheets
• duvet covers (without inners).

Please DO NOT donate pillows, sleeping bags, loose-knit woollens or feather / fluffy duvet inners. 

Donations can be dropped off Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm at the Animal Management Centre at 26 Radiata Grove, Port Whangārei.

Thank you for helping keep our pound pooches warm this winter.
