Pohe Island Bike Park

Cyclists and skaters on Pump Track at Bike Park on Pohe Island.

The Pohe Island Bike Park is a free community facility with an 800m circuit track, a pump track and a beginners’ bike skills area. 

The bike park also has a large all-weather building with a smooth asphalt surface perfect for teaching little ones to ride.

The Whangārei BMX Club track next to the bike park is not open to the general public.

A free BMX track is located next to the Pohe Island playground and skate park.
