Rates rebate widened
Changes to the thresholds mean some ratepayers who weren't eligible for a rates rebate in 2024-25 might be eligible in 2025-26. Homeowners can check their eligibility and apply for the 2025-26 rates rebate below. If you received a rebate last year, we have sent you a form for 2025-26 which you should receive by the end of July.

Te Matau a Pohe bridge planned maintenance
Te Matau a Pohe bridge will be closed to vehicle, pedestrian and marine traffic from 7:00pm on Friday 31 October until 5:00am on Saturday 1 November 2025 while we carry out cleaning of the structure from the roadway.
High tide is at 4:00am on the Saturday, so skippers are encouraged to book ahead for bridge lifts that day.
