Let's celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori by speaking some Māori phrases and go in the draw to win one a pōtae.

How to enter

Visit the Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori table set up at the base of the library's front stairs.

Choose one of the three prompts provided there:

1. Answer a question about Te Kōhanga Reo.
2. Say a greeting in Te Reo Māori.
3. Write the Māori name for the person, animal or object in the picture. 

Fill out an entry form to go into the draw.  

One entry per person.

Prizes will be drawn on Thursday 17 September 2026.

Be in to win a pōtae (hat) woven by members of the Raranga Tonu weaving group.
