A Justice of the Peace drop-in service, no appointment is required, is available at the following libraries:

Tikipunga Library

83 Paramount Parade, Tikipunga 0112.

Monday mornings 10:15am to 12:00pm
Friday afternoons 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Onerahi Library

159 Onerahi Road, Onerahi 0110.

Thursday afternoons
2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Whangārei Central Library

5 Rust Avenue, Whangārei 0110.

Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings
9:30am to 12:00pm.

Justice of the Peace services

• Taking oaths and declarations
• Witnessing signatures
• Certifying copies

This is a free service.

Visit checklist

• Do not sign anything beforehand
• Take a photo identification
• Remember to take the original document as well as the copy to be certified.
  Copy services are available at each library - see below.
• Check that a NZ Justice of the Peace can complete your documentation.

Photocopy services

Charges are per page:

• A4 black and white 10 cents; colour $1.00
• A3 black and white 20 cents; colour $2.00.
