Surfing for farmers

Surfing for Farmers is a free learn-to-surf programme helping to improve mental health and wellbeing in rural communities.

It provides an opportunity for farmers to step away from what can be an allconsuming business, get fresh air and exercise, and connect with other farmers, rural families and industry professionals.

The programme is being offered this summer at Sandy Bay and Waipu Cove, proudly supported by a Community Fund grant from Whangarei District Council.
