As the holiday season approaches remember to allow for the extra days that statutory holidays can add to processing times for applications.

Acts of Parliament that permits and licences are granted under usually have 20-working day time frames for processing. Statutory holidays and closedown periods can extend these timeframes.

Get applications in on time to avoid disappointment

LGOIMA

Closedown period for processing Official Information Act requests is from 20 December 2022 to 15 January 2023. 

Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act

Closedown period for processing alcohol licence applications is from 19 December 2022 to 13 January 2023.

RMA and Building Act

Closedown period for processing Resource Management Act and Building Act applications is from 20 December 2022 to 10 January 2023, inclusive.

Land Information Memorandum (LIM) 

Closedown period for LIM applications is from 20 December 2022 to 10 January 2023. Any LIM ordered during this time will be deemed as received 11 January 2023.

Please note: We will not be issuing LIMs from 12pm on Friday 23 December 2022 to 9 January 2023.

If you require a LIM before 23 December 2022 you will need to order prior to 7 December 2022.
