Have you got room in your heart and your home for beautiful Baxter?

Two-year-old Baxter, the bull terrier cross, is a puzzling case for Council’s animal control contractor’s Pound Pooch team.

“We have had him at the pound since January and he’s such a lovely boy we can’t understand why he keeps being left on the shelf,” said Pound Pooch coordinator Sharon Gledhill.

“He has been with us almost six months, he is sociable and friendly and we really want to see him find a forever home.”

“On recent outings he has enjoyed walking the loop, visiting the beach for a swim and shopping at Bunnings. He even enjoyed pats from a staff member while shopping in store.”

“He’s such a good boy – taking everything in his stride and was no problem at all. He is well behaved travelling in the car, seated nicely and displays a calm manner.”

“We can’t understand why he hasn’t been snaffled up by someone but we hope it will happen soon!”

Baxter is almost two years old, microchipped, de-sexed and ready to go.
