Onam Celebration Event 2024

Onam is the grand harvest festival celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm by Malayalees, the people of Kerala, India. This vibrant festival marks the homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali and showcases the rich cultural heritage of Kerala.

Join us for an evening filled with traditional dance, music and cultural performances by our local community. This celebration is open to everyone, regardless of background, to experience the unity and diversity of Malayalee culture.

Enjoy a delicious Sadhya, a traditional Kerala feast featuring an array of vegetarian dishes served on a banana leaf. There will be two meal sessions to choose from:

Timeslot A: 5:00pm to 5:40pm (please be seated by 4:55pm)
Timeslot B: 6:00pm to 6:40pm (please be seated by 5:55pm)

The cultural programme will continue from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Your ticket includes both the Sadhya and entry to the cultural performances.

Huitau Pā walkway partial closure

Part of Huitau Pa walkway is closed due to significant erosion. You can still access the track from the parking area, however please do not walk along the cliff and make sure you stay well away from the edge as it is unsafe. Signage is in place.

Flush water from taps in the mornings

The Ministry of Health recommends flushing a mugful of water from drinking-water taps each morning to remove any metals that may have dissolved from the plumbing fittings.
Although the health risk is small, this simple precaution is one all households on public and private water supplies should take.
