Northland Edible Garden Trail

Welcome to the second Northland Edible Garden Trail on the 11 and 12 February 2023.

Come and visit inspirational edible gardens in various sites throughout Whangārei, the mid-North and Kaitaia. Meet the gardeners and be inspired to grow your own fruit and vegetables in a sustainable way.

There will be a wide range of gardens from small urban gardens to rural lifestyle blocks to commercial growers. Northland has a beautiful subtropical climate, perfect for growing a wide range of fruits and vegetables. With fruit and vege prices at an all-time high, now is the time to grow.

Each property has set days and times in which they will be open to share their property with you. Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and check each property's opening days and times before arrival.
