Matariki at Dawn

Join us for star gazing and storytelling on the Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Māori Art Gallery Afforested roof this Matariki holiday!

Beginning with a karakia from Te Parawhau, over the morning you can learn about the significance of Matariki, hear from leading astronomer Peter Felhofer from the Whangarei Planetarium, see the Matariki stars through a telescopic lens and enjoy hot chocolate.
