Afternoon tea talk: An illustrated conservation talk

A presentation of a 20-year journey on how successfully a community can achieve great conservation outcomes and keep it exciting.

In 1998 Whangarei Heads locals wanted to make a difference. They formed a "Restoration Committee" and started pest trapping and planting. Since 2002 the Bream Head Conservation Trust has gone from strength to strength.

Light refreshments provided.
