Community Facilities Fund

The Community Facilities Fund supports the district’s multi-use community facilities with maintenance, enhancements and overhead expenses, that enable the facilities to be used by the community.

Amount: The maximum amount applicants can request is $10,000.

Timeframes: The Fund is offered annually.

Applications close on 1 September 2021.

Step 1.Check criteria

Eligible applicants are community organisations that:

  • meet our general eligibility criteria stated in our Community Funding Policy
  • are a multi-use community facility whose primary purpose is as a venue for hire, such as community halls

Step 2.Complete the application form

Step 3.Assessment

Funding decisions are made by the Community Development Committee of Council.

Applications close 1 September 2021 with outcomes advised within two months. 

Step 4.Reporting back

If you are successful in receiving funding from us, you will need to report back to us within 6 months with:

  • a breakdown of how the grant was spent (including receipts)
  • photos of the work completed.
