<title><![CDATA[International Costume Parade at the Central Library on 20 March 2010]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Whangarei's Central Library will host a colourful parade of people in national costumes from all over the world on Saturday 20 March at 2:30pm. 
<br/><br/>
Whangarei residents of more then 20 nationalities will wear their traditional and ethnic costumes and will be accompanied by appropriate music from each country. Artists from a variety of cultural groups will perform and entertain the audience.

<description><![CDATA[The Mayor and Councillors will be hosting >60 International Students from all the local High Schools in Whangarei ion Thursday 11th March in the Council Chambers, Forum North. This function is co-ordinated by Alf Kirk, Principal at the Whangarei Boys’ High School and an exciting occasion for these students to meet with The Mayor of Whangarei in the Council Chambers.
