Meetings of the major committees take place once a month. Additional meetings are scheduled as required. Monthly meeting schedules are also advertised in the Whangarei Leader.

All meetings of Council and its Committees are held in the Council Chamber, Forum North Building, Rust Avenue, Whangarei , unless stated otherwise on the cover of the agenda.

Full copies of all Council and committee agendas and minutes can also be read at the Whangarei Central Library, Community Libraries and at the Customer Service Centres in Hikurangi and Ruakaka.
