The Whangarei District Council has three offices where customers can conduct their business. These offices are able to accept all applications including building consents and PIM and LIM information, register a dog or receipt an account. Each of the offices is connected to the main computer system so any information on your property, rates or water account can be obtained.
The Whangarei District Council has an automated information line which provides a range of information on council meeting dates, Councillors’ names and contact details, library hours, bylaws relating to skateboarding in the city, fire bans, liquor bans, - rubbish collection days and sportsfield closures.
Council has a central location for all email enquiries - mailroom@wdc.govt.nz. All emails are entered into our corporate system and forwarded to the appropriate team within council.
