The Kete Rauemi Maori (Maori Resource Kit) summarises the processes of Council, how Council makes decisions and how Maori can influence those.
It provides a high level resource for Maori which is supported by more detailed / statutory resources such as Council’s Long Term Plan 2018-2028, Fees and Charges 2018-2019 and Te Tai Tokerau Papakainga Toolkit.
It is intended as a starting point for discussion and Council can look at other issue specific resources and toolkits where these would be beneficial for Maori. Click on the link below to download the document.

At the September 2015 Te Karearea Strategic Partnership Forum meeting it was decided that it would be a great advantage for Te Karearea to produce an annual update of activities.
A draft report was prepared which was presented at the February meeting and then adopted in March. You can view the report below.
